BirdPro is an app designed to assist in identifying and appreciating the bird species found in South Africa. The app offers a variety of features to aid users in this endeavor including:

	<li>The option to upgrade to different versions, such as Southern Africa, South Africa, Kruger National Park, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, or a comprehensive Southern African version.</li>
	<li>Utilizes an award-winning identification tool.</li>
	<li>Provides over 7700 images showcasing birds from various angles and variants.</li>
	<li>Incorporates over 2100 bird calls for comprehensive auditory reference.</li>
	<li>Includes over 70 videos illustrating bird behavior.</li>
	<li>Offers detailed information on each bird species.</li>
	<li>Interactive bird distribution maps with migration patterns when applicable.</li>
	<li>Presents bird names in 16 languages, including native South African languages and scientific terms.</li>
</ul>
The SmartSearch function enables users to filter birds based on location, shape, type, color, size, bird calls, and other attributes, facilitating accurate identification. It also sorts search results by relevance, greatly enhancing efficiency. Furthermore, BirdPro features Image Recognition technology for South African birds and a precise location filter for over 1200 South African reserves.
Users can log their bird sightings with trip descriptions, dates, photos, and notes which will be displayed as pins on distribution maps. Sightings lists can be synchronized across devices and shared on a website for convenience.
BirdPro's unique 'Similars' functionality categorizes similar birds with a preference for the user's selected location. It also operates offline once installed, enabling usage in remote areas. Updates are provided regularly at no cost, with additional charges applicable for major features like Image Recognition.
